How this small site handles your information.

The short version

Eric the AI Guy is a small, Texas-based side business run by Eric Gould. This site collects only the information needed to understand site traffic, let you book a call, and respond when you contact me.

This policy is written in plain English. It is not meant to hide a data machine behind fancy words.

Information you choose to send

If you book a call, send an email, or message me on WhatsApp, I may receive information such as your name, email address, phone number, company name, meeting details, and anything you include in your message.

Please do not send sensitive personal, medical, financial, legal, HR, or regulated information unless we have agreed in writing how it will be handled.

Website analytics

This site uses Statcounter to understand basic website activity, such as page visits, referral sources, browser type, device information, approximate location, and similar analytics data. Statcounter may use cookies or similar technologies to provide that service.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect some analytics tracking, but the site should still work.

Third-party services

This site links to or uses third-party services, including:

• Calendly, for scheduling AI Intake sessions.
• WhatsApp, for direct messaging.
• Email, for direct communication.
• Statcounter, for website analytics.

Those services have their own privacy practices. When you use them, your information is also handled under their policies.

How I use information

I may use information you provide to schedule calls, respond to questions, prepare for an intake session, provide services you request, maintain basic business records, improve the website, and protect against spam or misuse.

I do not sell your personal information.

Client materials and AI tools

If we work together, I may review business materials you provide, such as website copy, brand notes, emails, ads, prompts, documents, or workflow examples. Some work may involve AI tools or other software vendors.

For paid work, clients generally use their own AI/tool accounts, logins, subscriptions, and workspace access rather than ongoing access to my personal or business accounts.

During a project, you may choose to give me temporary access to AI tools, website accounts, hosting accounts, email platforms, or other business software so I can complete the agreed work. When the work is complete, you are responsible for removing that access, changing shared passwords, and reviewing who still has access to your accounts. I am not responsible for account access, security issues, or misuse that happens because passwords or permissions were not changed after the project ends.

For paid projects, any AI/data handling details should be covered in the service agreement or statement of work for that project.

Retention

I keep contact, project, and billing-related information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, keep business records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. If you want something deleted, contact me and I will handle reasonable requests unless I need to keep it for legitimate business or legal reasons.

Your choices

You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have sent me. You can also choose not to use Calendly or WhatsApp and contact me by email instead.
